How to repair the E7 Error of Induction Cooktop?

In this post, we will see how to repair the E7 problem in the induction cooker. Before this, we understand why an E7 error occurs in an induction cooktop.

Why E7 error occurs in the induction cooktop?

If you use an induction cooker then you must have seen different errors in the induction cooker. You are reading this post it means that your induction cooker is also showing an E7 error. The E7 error is not an isolated problem in an induction cooker.

Maybe the input ac voltage is low or high, first, you wait for some time and after a while tries to turn on the induction, and your problem can be solved.

If the E7 error keeps recurring in the induction cooker then you will need to get the induction cooker repaired. So it may be that the voltage divider resistor in your induction cooker is open.

How to fix induction cooktop E7 error?

Typically,  270k, 330k, 470k, or 820k 1/2 watt or 1-watt voltage divider resistors are used in induction cookers.

If the E7 problem occurs in the induction cooker, then first of all you have to check the resistor of the value mentioned above. You can check continuity with a multimeter. There is another way to check it, but before that, you should know that the whole circuit board of the induction cooker is live, which means you will check the circuit by turning on the power, and by mistake your hand will touch somewhere on the circuit board. So you may get an electric shock, so follow this method carefully

In this, you can check the ADC pin of the microcontroller IC with a multimeter from the voltage divider resistor, this voltage should come from 1 volt to 3.5 volts. This will also let you know which voltage divider resistor is open, if any of these resistors are open you will have to replace them, this may solve your problem.

If the induction cooktop shows errors E3, E4, E7, or E8, it means that the input AC voltage is high or low. It varies from brand to brand. For this, you have to check the divider resistor in the induction cooker circuit board.

If the fan of the induction cooker gets faulty then even after some time E7 error occurs in the induction cooker and if ever the internal temperature sensor in the induction cooker gets faulty then also the E7 error occurs in the induction cooker.
