Starting Problem in Induction Cooker

Sometimes such a problem comes in the induction cooker that it is not understood what can be wrong with the induction cooker. So it is a bit difficult to understand such a problem. Like the problem that came with this induction cooktop. The induction cooktop is on but turns off automatically when powered on.

There can be many reasons for this type of problem. and this type of problem can be different from company to company.

Now let's talk about this video.

It used to turn off automatically as soon as this induction cooker was started. When the induction cooker was opened then there was capacitor damage in it and in SMPS section someone had used regular 4148 diodes instead of 18Volt Zener Diode, after replacing these two parts, the induction cooker started but the pot was not heating in it. There was also the problem of no heating. The voltage divider resistor in the induction cooker was also open, which had a value of 470k, after replacing this resistor the induction cooktop became fine.

A few days back I had repaired an induction cooker, it also had the same problem but its reason was different. In that induction cooker, there was IGBT short between the gate and the source. Sometimes this type of problem also comes from the driver section of the induction cooker not getting 18 volts from the SMPS.

Sometimes, despite everything being normal, there is a problem with auto-off in the induction cooker. Some reasons are given below.
1) Even if the IGBT becomes short between Gate to Source of the induction cooker, the problem of auto-off comes as soon as the induction cooker is turned on. 2) Even if the driver section of the induction cooker does not get 18volt, the problem of auto-off comes in the induction cooker.
