E3 Error in Induction cooker |How to repair E3 Error in Induction Cooker?

E3 Error in Induction cooker | How to repair E3 Error in Induction Cooker?

If your induction cooker is also showing an E3 problem then it may be that the mains AC voltage of your house is low or high. So after some time, you try to turn on the induction cooker again.

The induction cooktop gets E3 or E4 problems due to low or high input AC voltage. If there is no problem inside the induction cooker then this problem is automatically rectified when the main power is returned to normal.

If there is a problem inside the circuit board of the induction cooker, then this problem will keep on coming, and in such a case, you will have to repair the induction cooker.

Why does the induction cooker show an E3 error?

1) E3 error occurs in the induction cooker due to an open voltage divider resistor of the main AC voltage sensing section of the induction cooker.

2) E3 error occurs in the induction cooker due to a faulty capacitor next to the voltage divider resistor in the main AC voltage sensing section of the induction cooker.

3) E3 error occurs in induction cooker due to faulty IN4007 diode of main AC voltage sensing section of induction cooker

4)Sometimes, the IC Base Socket is used for the Microcontroller IC in the Induction Cooktop, in this, the pin and base socket of the IC become rusty due to this the ADC pin of the microcontroller IC does not get voltage and the E3 problem comes in Induction Cooker.

What is ADC in Microcontroller IC?

To read an analog value, there is an ADC module inside the microcontroller IC which converts the analog value into a digital value.

There can be many reasons for the E3 and E4 errors coming in the induction cooker, for this you can go to our YouTube and watch its video.

How to Repair E0 Error of Induction cooktop?

The induction cooker requires normal voltage to work, if the AC voltage coming into the house is more or less then there may be a problem in the induction cooker. For this, voltage, a divider section has been made. And through this voltage divider section, the voltage is given to the ADC pin of the microcontroller IC.

For this purpose 2 ADC pins of microcontroller IC are used in the induction cooker, one pin is used to sense low voltage, and the other pin is used to sense high voltage. If one of the resistors in the voltage divider section is opened, the ADC pin of the microcontroller IC does not receive voltage and the induction cooker shows an E3 error or an E4 error.

There is no such standard that the E3 error has to be shown only when the main AC voltage is low. or the E4 error shows up when the main AC voltage is high.

But most of the manufacturers show E3 error when the voltage is low.

How to Repair E4 Error of Induction cooktop?

In order to sense low volts, 2 to 3.5 volt is given to the pin of the microcontroller IC, if the ADC pin of the microcontroller IC does not get this voltage or gets work then the induction cooker shows an E3 error.

Similarly, to keep the induction circuit safe when the main AC power or voltage is high, 1 volt to 2 volts is given to the microcontroller IC and one ADC pin, if this voltage becomes more than the induction cooker shows an E4 error.

So the E3 error or E4 error comes from the voltage divider resistor being open.

So for this, you have to check the high-value resistor of 1watt or a half-watt and its related components like a capacitor and other divider resistors will have to be checked.
