There are two types of a microwave ovens, one is a simple microwave oven in which food is cooked or heated by radiation, and the other is microwave + OTG which has a microwave oven as well as heating elements as in a normal oven as follows. We know the microwave oven as Convection Microwave.

There is another difference in a microwave oven, one is transformer-based and one is inverter-based. In inverter-based microwaves, an electronics circuit is used instead of a transformer.

How many types of keypads are there in a microwave oven?

There are 3 types of keypads in a microwave oven.

There is a microswitch, this type of switch is mounted separately on the circuit board, in this type of circuit board, the switch is defective. It can be easily replaced.

The second type of keypad is made on plastic paper, in which we cannot replace a single switch, for this we have to replace the entire keypad or we can modify it.

The third type is the touch switch, in this, if the PCB of the keypad is packed with silicon, then there is very little problem with this type of keypad.
